Infographics

An infographic is a way to visually display information. Most people want information fast and simple, which makes infographics ideal. Individuals are feeling overloaded with information available in many forms, daily and constantly. Infographics are a great way to represent data. To avoid the concept of information overload, using an infographic to present and communicate information in easy to read visual organizers. There are many ways to use infographics in the classroom. For example, students can create an infographic after a lesson to show what they learned. Infographics can be used to show the characteristics of a character from a book. It can be used in math to show different ways to represent a number. This is something kids will find engaging, keeping them focused. This is an app I will be using more now that I know about it. I used piktochart to create my infographic about Dr. Suess, since we were celebrating Read Across America.
